Pastor Earl L. Savage, Sr. is a man of God who has devoted his life to His service. An Ordained Minister, he is currently the co-founder and Pastor of Walk by Faith Ministries located in Ocoee, Florida, and is carrying the mantle for the vision to spread the Gospel to the world, one step at a time. Pastor Earl, as he is affectionally called, received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a very early age, and grew up in service to the church. He has served in many areas of leadership in the body of Christ for more than 25 years, beginning with ministry in church education. After this initial beginning, he was ordained as a deacon, and served in a local Baptist congregation as the developer and director of the Deacon’s Family Ministry for several years.
He has worked in many capacities in the church, having served as Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Pastor, Bible Study Teacher and Expositor for youth and adults, and Men’s Ministry Leader. Pastor Savage also served as a Church Administrator in a joint fellowship that included 17 different churches across several counties. Pastor Savage was ultimately ordained and licensed as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Savage’s ministry has spread throughout Central Florida and beyond the State of Florida where he has ministered to various congregations with the Word of God.
He preaches and teaches monthly at Orlando Union Rescue Mission’s Men’s Shelter for men who are homeless, where many men have given their lives to Christ and are becoming all that God has purposed them to be. He has also preached in churches and open-air crusades in Africa to several thousand people; again, leading many to Jesus Christ and seeing firsthand the miracles of God through his life. He has ministered in churches, open-air crusades, revivals, and other venues in America, Africa, and Haiti, seeing many new converts come to Christ, and many being healed of sicknesses and diseases.
In 2008, in response to Jesus’ Great Commission found in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 16, Pastor Savage along with his wife stepped out of the walls of the traditional church to start Walk by Faith Ministries. Pastor Earl, an engineer by education and profession, gave up a 27-year lucrative, high visibility Executive job with Lockheed Martin Corporation in 2008 to work full time in ministry in the call of God on his life.
During his employment as an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Manager in the Missiles and Fire Control Company, he received numerous awards and recognitions. His employment record was impeccable, having achieved for many years the highest departmental performance rating of all his peers. He was promoted many times during his career, having begun in an entry-level position, and ultimately leaving as a Manager in charge of more than 40 employees, and having oversight for critical programs and projects in the company.
God has endowed Pastor Earl with the Gift of Administration, which Pastor Earl uses to teach others how to be good stewards of the resources with which God has entrusted them. He conducts workshops on housing, financial investments, and “Doing much with a little: Being a Good Steward of What God has Entrusted You”. He has applied the doctrine he teaches to his personal life and assists others to realize prosperity in all aspects of their lives—spiritual, financial, emotional, and in other areas.
Pastor Earl attended the Life Leadership Biblical Studies Institute of The Life Center Church, earning a 2-year certificate in Church Leadership; and he attended Cottonwood Leadership College in Sausalito, California where he earned college credits in Church Leadership through their distance learning program.
Pastor Earl is also an entrepreneur. He founded, along with his wife, Solomon Investment Group, LLC which has real estate holdings in multiple counties in Florida and in other states. He is the current president of Solomon Investment Group, and Solomon Renovation Services, LLC a successful company that purchases, renovates, and provides affordable housing for first-time home buyers in Central and East Florida. His company also invests in multi-family apartments in Florida and in other states. They are now developing new affordable homes in the Central Florida area.
Pastor Earl Savage is known as a man of integrity who is true to his word whether in ministry, or in his personal life. He is married to Minister/ Prophet Sharon Johnson Savage, and is the father of one daughter and two sons. He enjoys cruising, hunting, sport fishing, boating, water skiing, basketball, football, golf, hiking (mountains), and snorkeling. Pastor Earl also enjoys traveling throughout the world, especially those trips that provide new adventures.
